This piercing goes vertically through the clitoral hood (protective fold of tissue that sits above/on top of the clitoris). It is generally pierced with a curved barbell, and is often described as a “functional” piercing. This piercing sits vertically and allows the bottom ball to sit on top of the clitoris providing added stimulation and pressure. This sensation can be increased by wearing larger ends and/or stretching the piercing.
