Guiche Piercing

A guiche piercing (pronounced Geesh) is a piercing done through the perineum, which is the area of tissue in between the genitals and the anus. People of all genders can get guiche piercings, although it is far more common in people with penises, which is why we have categorized this page in that way.

Like many genital piercings, guiche piercings were primarily practiced in gay BDSM culture, prior to the resurgence of piercing in Western culture in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Guiche piercings are typically used to increase sexual stimulation, and adding guiche weights or pulling on healed piercings can increase pleasure for the person with the piercings. These piercings are not used for increasing pleasure for a partner.

Due to the proximity to the anus, it is extremely important to keep your healing piercing clean. Having daily showers and using sterile saline to clean the area when you aren't showering helps the healing process. Regardless, these piercings tend to take longer to heal than other genital piercings because of how often we move, sit, stand, and flex that area of the body.
